Graduation Day and The Upcoming Performance

My graduation day is coming... Technically, it's going to be on Saturday, March the 3rd. So, it's about less than two weeks from now. Ga nyangka aja... Jadi ngerasa udah tua... Padahal i'm still 21... I still have a lot of things to do... I mean, i can do just about anything. I can gain lots of experiences right now... All i have to do is just MOVE and START. Starting something is just the hardest part... And Finishing what you start is just as hard as starting it. Well, finishing something means starting a new thing... That's life basically. It's all about the proccess... it stops when you die. For now, enought bout life...

Let's talk about something a bit lighter... Gw belom tau kapan tepatnya "Syukuran Wisuda"-nya. WIsudanya tanggal 3... tapi syukuran di Astronomi-nya belom tau. I'm still waiting for the Panitia to confirm the day to me. So well, i've been preparing myself for performing @ the celebration. I hope they're going to allow me to perform 3 songs (bout 15 minutes)... And i really don't wanna make it a 1-man show. I mean, after all this time, i'm really not supposed to forget about my fellows... who have motivated me in such a way... and accompanied me while performing @ almost every SYukuran Wisuda. I hope i can perform with Anton and Isman... I hope it's not going to be the last time i perform... 'cause basically, i love performing... As long as entertaining the audience, i have no reason to stop... If i have to stop, i'll stop... Well, it's going to be such a memorable moment for me, absolutely... I hope they (Anton and Isman) don't mind accompanying me to perform...

The songs i'm going to bring are
1. Give Me One Reason (Tracy Chapman) - 'cause i think it's gonna be like the yes-no and funny song for me for that moment... "Give me one reason to stay here... and i'll turn right back around". So well, it's going to match the occasion
2. You've Got A Friend (James Taylor) - i did this song about two years ago in the Wisudaan-nya (lupa euy)... Waktu itu, gw tampil tanpa iringan... karena orang2 disana pada minta lagi... ya udah, gw nyanyiin You've got a friend, tanpa persiapan... Lagian di rumah udah sering nyanyi... dan Alhamdulillah waktu itu, mereka suka dan anehnya, mereka ikut nyanyi dan ikut tepuk tangan... wow, that's great (i thought in my head)... Setidaknya ga malu2in amat, hehehe... Nah, sekarang harus ada pengiringnya... Lagian, the song will match the occasion as well
3. I Believe I Can Fly (R. Kelly) - Gw lupa udah berapa kali gw nyanyiin lagi ini di wisudaan... Soalnya, tiap gw nyanyi di wisudaan, they always asked me to sing this song... with or without the music... It's like my signature-song... Actually i'm kinda tired singing this song... but for this "last" moment... I'm gonna bring it on all the way to the table...

So, Ton... Man... Mau kan? Mau ya! Mau ya! Kalo permintaannya gw nyanyi juga di wisudaan kalian... Oke itu mah!!! Hahahahahaha...

Singing's always been my fave thing to do... in my ordinary hours! Ya, dari dulu sampe sekarang, musik kesukaan gw berubah-ubah... My singing style is inspired by many artists... Semua penyanyi juga gitu kan... Mereka dipengaruhi oleh penyanyi2 yang lagu2nya suka mereka nyanyiin... Terus terang, gw seneng banget sama nyanyi dari pas gw sma... sebelumnya,belom kepikiran. Now, my knowledge about singing is not the same as what i had a long time ago... I've grown in and out!!! as well as my fave music and those artists whom i let to influence my music and the way i sing...

These artists above have at least left some of their tones in me... (I'm not saying i'm good)... I always try my best... Hopefully this voice is going to be better day by day! so i can use it to make the world a better place... Ya, it seems too big for a dream... But this is really my dream!!!

Going abroad, the land of the nethers

Ga nyangka... dalam hitungan bulan, gw bakalan going abroad, to the Netherlands! Siapa yang nyangka?! I never did... Viuh! Bulan2 kemaren masih nyante2 aja, sampe ketemu si kenton anton... detik2 terakhir penutupan pendaftaran bagi yang mau dapet beasiswa! And DUOOOR... beberapa minggu kmudian, gw dapet beasiswa itu... YEEEE! Hore, but ga sampe situ aja...

3 temen gw pun dapet beasiswa itu n masih banyak biaya yang perlu kita tanggung! What makes me excited is this adrenaline is so rushing... like i never thought! It's just so exciting! I just hope that we can cover the rest of the payment... so going abroad is not gonna be a dream anymore! gw sadar ini bakalan jadi sesuatu yang baru buat gue... dan sangat berharga untuk masa depan gw!

Ini juga yang mau gw tekenin sama temen2... The future can't be predicted but you can plan for some! If it doesn't come true... at least you're gonna be staying strong! Wish us luck...
